April Fools Joke
My 11 year old absolutely loves April Fools Day.Every year she enlists my help in figuring out something fun to do her big brother.Last year we did this "Milk Joke" and even though he didn't laugh at the time, once he got to school he did tell his friends that he thought it was pretty funny. It was easy to do and didn't take a lot of time.

My charges still make fun of me and complain about the year I got up super early and made them dinner for breakfast. The joke was supposed to be funny- a backwards day. We had dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner. What kid wouldn't like a hamburger for breakfast? MINE! They were disgusted and it was a disaster! They still talk about it years later and wonder why I thought it would be fun!
You never know. I still think it is funny.
That is hysterical Sue! I love it! I might do that tomorrow as we have spring break!
I used to torture my own kids and can't wait till my charges are old enough to appreciate my sick humor...I removed all the "charms" from their Lucky Charms, and one year replaced the cereal in their box with dog food - Hurry up and eat kids, we've got to get going! Love the milk idea but would have to prepare it before I get to work...
