I greatly thank Regarding Nannies Blog for inviting me to write a bit about Nanny Retreat 2009, a yearly weekend educational and networking retreat, hosted by my agency, Perfect Match Nannies & Sitters, that will take place in beautiful Lake Geneva, WI, September 11, 12 & 13... Commonly referred to as "The Hampton's of The Midwest."

Registration for this unique yearly event, technically closed on July 1st.... but for THIS WEEK ONLY (7/27-8/2) we are opening up a LAST CHANCE REGISTRATION and invite you to take advantage of this last opportunity to attend!

What IS Nanny Retreat?
This will be the 3rd year that our agency will be hosting this event offering various continuing education seminars and endless networking and opportunities for friendships to be made. Our event focuses on pampering the wonderful nannies in attendance in a very retreat-esque atmosphere. Our first 2 events were welcomed with rave reviews and we hope for nothing less from this year! Many in attendance will be 3rd year veterans of this event- something we are very proud of!

We are excited in 2009 to have 3 nannies joining us all the way from Colorado... Christy Ochs, International Nanny Association, Nanny of the Year, 2007 will be in attendance, as well as Marcia Hall, 2009 International Nanny of the Year Nominee! There will be no shortage of amazing tips, tricks and camaraderie shared between our attendees, that is for sure. The event welcomes nannies of all levels and experiences and 55% of our registered attendees this year have cited that their employers are sponsoring the costs of attending. We encourage you to show the event details to your employer and discuss educational reimbursement. It is a win-win for both nannies & families!
