Week Three of the INA Giveaways for July starts now!,This is a for a INA partial year membership(valid July-December 2009-valued at $35 each). This giveaway is open to anyone-nanny or business owner- who has NOT been a previous INA member or is a former INA member that hasn't been a member since June 2008. There is one requirement to enter this week's giveaway. We will choose the winner of week two on Sunday July 26 2009 via Random.org. Entries are collected through Sunday at 12:00 pm noon EST.

My favorite is starfall.com.
It's perfect for pre-readers and early readers, as it teaches leveled early reading skills through games. It is one of the only sites that have games that are educational and appropriate for this age, and it is the only one I know that does not use advertising and corporate characters at all.
And it's the only one I know of that a pre-reader can navigate independently right from the start.
I also recommend one that most people may not have heard of: http://www.faceturn.com/
This is a great site to use for kids who have trouble reading facial expressions, or just to teach emotions through facial expressions. There is a face that can be seen from any angle of rotation, and a drop-down menu of emotions to select for that face to demonstrate.

My favorite website is sesamestreet.com. The baby is too young to sit thru an entire sesame street show but we will watch a few clips on the computer.It also has games.
Anotherfavoriteis the DSOkids.com. It is a website connected to the Dallas Symphony and allows you to explore the different instruments.

My first answer would be google.com! Lately my charge has been asking me the most bizarre questions, and we fire up the laptop to find the answer. Its his favorite pastime these days, and I love giving him the chance to ask whatever he wonders.
As far as an educational website though, www.enchantedlearning.com. They have a GREAT search for a ton of activities. Looking for a song about dinosaurs? Click on a link and you have a few to chose from. Can't quite remember that nursery rhyme? Its there. There are also links to print experiments, work book pages, writing ideas. Great all around website for young ones.

My favorite website for my charge right now is the fisherprice.com site. They have FREE online interactive games for the little ones. Including a game that teaches them ABC's and 123's. It's all very interactive and easy for the little guys because basicly all they have to do is bang on the keyboard to get the game to react to them. My charge laughs hysterically everytime and just adores the site.
